Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and accurately record medical history.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and verify insurance.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting.
- Current RMA, CMA, or NCMA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable transportation.
