Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, screenings, and medical history reviews.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient charting accurately.
- Coordinate appointments and referrals, including coordination with Virginia facilities.
- Administer vaccinations and perform basic lab duties as directed.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
