Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and guide them through the intake process efficiently.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, take vital signs, and prepare examination rooms for procedures.
- Admin Duties: Manage patient records accurately in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, including updating charts and processing referrals.
- Lab Procedures: Perform basic lab tests such as blood draws, urine analysis, and EKGs following strict safety protocols.
- Communication: Clearly communicate test results and treatment plans to patients and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Inventory: Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment to ensure clinic readiness.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software; strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
