- Appear denied claims with supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate patient account records and billing databases
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Strong knowledge of payer policies and reimbursement methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and billing software
