Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care urgency using established protocols
- Provide expert medical guidance via phone, telehealth, and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement infection control and emergency response procedures
- Educate patients on self-care and preventive health measures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and TNCC preferred
- Expertise in symptom assessment and emergency triage protocols
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends
