Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical/surgical units with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations using critical thinking skills
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
