Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating critical issues immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with infection control standards.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their care plans.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to weekend availability as per the shift schedule.
