Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical/surgical units with precision and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent nursing certification
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work 24-32 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
- Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning
