Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control procedures
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care or similar setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
