Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in med-surg/oncology units with precision and empathy
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license with current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience required
- ACLS certification preferred; oncology background a plus
- Strong critical thinking and exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 24-32 hours per week, including weekends/holidays
