Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to detect changes in health status promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient histories, symptoms, and treatment responses in the EHR system.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized patient environment that promotes healing and comfort.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and patient needs within the scope of nursing practice.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
