Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
- Assist in emergency response situations and code activations
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred for specialty units
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
