Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with clinical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide clear education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and critical patient needs within the unit.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (EMR/EHR).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
