Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a medical-surgical or acute care unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced healthcare environments.
