Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and maintain strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings to enhance clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the facility.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative team environment.
