Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and perform basic life support if necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting (preferred for Top Hospital roles).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a part-time capacity.
