Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions by gathering data, reviewing medical history, and conducting physical examinations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and intervene immediately if critical changes occur.
- Document patient care activities, updates, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
