Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assessment during weekend shifts.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and health management.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, including weekend shifts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume weekend environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and comfort at all times.
