Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
