Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
