Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient history, assessments, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the designated shift.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict medical standards.
