Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in a patient's condition to ensure safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
