Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical documentation and patient record management via telehealth platforms
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and preliminary health screenings
- Coordinate patient care plans and schedule telehealth appointments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Provide remote patient education on treatment protocols and medication management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all remote communication and data handling
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Strong written communication skills for patient interactions via messaging/email
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- Valid CPR certification and up-to-date immunization records
