Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environments
- Manage surgical equipment inventory and sterilization protocols
- Document case details accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical workflows
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and AORN standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 1+ years of recent surgical tech experience in hospital setting
- Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and emergency response skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
