Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic protocols
- Handle and sterilize surgical instruments per OSHA standards
- Document surgical counts and equipment usage
- Collaborate with RNs and anesthesia teams
- Manage inventory and restock supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 1+ years of scrub experience in surgical services
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of orthopedic/general surgery procedures
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
