Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Adhere to all JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific safety protocols
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families during transitions of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of California or ability to obtain compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred based on assignment
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and clinical documentation
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently in diverse environments
- Flexibility to adapt to new facilities and rapidly changing patient conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for assignment locations
