Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and compassion
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in emergency response situations and rapid patient assessment
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in relevant specialty (ER, MedSurg, ICU, etc.)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications based on unit needs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong assessment skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for assignments
