Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls based on urgency and medical necessity
- Provide accurate clinical guidance via telehealth and phone triage
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans
- Document patient interactions in EMR systems with precision
- Educate patients on self-care and when to seek emergency care
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license with at least 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in both English and Spanish
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Calm demeanor under pressure with problem-solving aptitude
