Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telephone triage for patient calls, prioritizing urgent cases
- Conduct accurate symptom assessments and provide clinical guidance
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with care teams
- Educate patients on self-care and follow-up protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license with BLS certification
- 2+ years emergency or urgent care experience
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficient in telephone triage protocols
- Strong communication and patient education abilities
- EMR system proficiency (Epic preferred)
