Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and prioritize medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide accurate clinical advice and guidance to patients via phone and telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate patient care plans
- Document patient interactions and triage outcomes in EMR systems
- Manage patient flow and direct appropriate care resources
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN license with active status
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
