Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and telehealth triage to determine appropriate care urgency
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients regarding health concerns and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Accurately document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHR)
- Manage patient flow and prioritize cases based on clinical acuity
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or emergency settings
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with telehealth triage systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
