Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection following OSHA and CLIA regulations
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Maintain sterile environments and proper infection control protocols
- Document patient information and specimen data in electronic health records
- Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Participate in continuing education to maintain certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior phlebotomy experience necessary (training provided)
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
