Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform chairside support with instrument transfer, suction, and patient positioning
- Execute dental radiography and develop X-rays following ALARA protocols
- Manage sterilization processes and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle insurance documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for efficient clinical operations
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent education
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
