Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical advice to patients and healthcare providers
- Document patient encounters in EMR systems with precision
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for patient care plans
- Handle high-volume calls during peak hours efficiently
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
