Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to determine urgency of care
- Provide accurate triage recommendations via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient flow
- Document clinical encounters meticulously in EMR systems
- Educate patients on care pathways and home management strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license with at least 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven triage experience in urgent care or emergency settings
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
