Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth triage protocols
- Prioritize cases using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) criteria
- Coordinate care with physicians and specialist teams
- Document clinical encounters in Epic EMR systems
- Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care plans
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication channels
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telehealth triage certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-30 hours weekly (flexible shifts)
