Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone triage assessments for incoming patient calls
- Prioritize patient needs based on acuity and established protocols
- Document clinical encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for patient disposition
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in EHR documentation systems
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
