Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized protocols to determine medical urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Provide evidence-based clinical guidance and health education to patients across diverse demographics
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex case escalation and coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with precise documentation of all interactions
- Monitor patient outcomes and follow up on critical cases per established protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth nursing
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience highly valued)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated empathy in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
