Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using established triage protocols
- Provide expert medical advice via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Administer initial treatments and medications under physician supervision
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases immediately
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in fast-paced environments
