Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations using standardized protocols
- Prioritize cases based on acuity levels and escalate critical emergencies immediately
- Document clinical encounters accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient pathways
- Provide health education and discharge instructions to patients/caregivers
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage accuracy
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
