Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans and coordinate interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed documentation
- Provide compassionate guidance to patients regarding treatment options and resources
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases to emergency protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage processes
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EHR systems or comparable platforms
