Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell) for prescription processing
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting
- Proficiency with pharmacy technology and inventory systems
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
