Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare patients for treatment, take dental impressions, and perform sterilization protocols
- Manage digital radiography systems and maintain accurate patient records
- Oversee inventory control for dental supplies and equipment
- Deliver post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout appointments
- Coordinate with front desk staff for seamless patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general or specialty dental practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dental clinical software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
