Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine urgency of care requirements
- Provide telehealth consultations and in-person triage services
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment plans
- Educate patients on self-care and preventive measures
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification (must maintain)
- Triage certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
