Responsibilities
- Perform telephone triage for patient inquiries following established clinical protocols
- Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate care urgency level
- Provide clear clinical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth platforms
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex cases
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
