Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary to ensure proper nutrition.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management under the supervision of a nurse.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities using your personal vehicle.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health status to our nursing team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; CNA or PCA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference verification.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with elderly individuals and families.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and assist clients with mobility needs as required.
