Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for patients following strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist the Pharmacist in processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical products.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure proper billing and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions regarding medications and store policies.
- Monitor expiration dates and perform monthly inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
