Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone/video triage using standardized protocols
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and clinical acuity
- Coordinate with providers to facilitate appropriate care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex cases
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current WI RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and de-escalation abilities
