Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify patient information
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels of pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing inquiries
- Provide medication counseling to patients under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1)
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
