Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy, completeness, and proper dosage.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding prescriptions, insurance coverage, and over-the-counter products.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking shelves and performing regular cycle counts.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary; we provide paid training!
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be willing to obtain a Pharmacy Technician license (training provided).
